2008 becomes a year of organization and strengthening our core assets – our employees. We also carry out some shop improvements. There are no major equipment purchases, but we tackle an area we’ve wanted to for a few years new: software.
We had been using 3 or more different software packages to handle accounting/purchasing/production, etc. We’ve wanted to consolidate that into one package and decided that this was the time to tackle this project.
We reviewed several packages and made a decision! Some training began in the 4th quarter, with our target being Jan 1 2009 to go live with our new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
As usual our Halloween party is a hit, as even Sarah Palin makes an appearance!
